I'm having problems with Embertone's Blakus Cello.
I can add it to the Kontakt libraries and use it without any issues.

But when I open Kontakt next time the library isn't there any more and I have to add it again..
This is very frustrating, especially since projects I've used the library in says "you don't have this library" when
I try to load them which means I'll have to add the library again and redo all the settings specific for this project.. :/

The library also doesn't appear in Service Center. I suspect this also is connected to the problem..(?) .. :/

I've searched for solutions and the only thing I've found so far is; going to Service Center's folder and deleting the library's .xml-file. This is not possible in my case though, because that xml-file doesn't exist in the first place :/

I don't have it but its an Instrument for Kontakt player which means it should show up in service centre and require you to enter the serial number to regester it. If this is not happening it could be a bad installation or a corrupt download.

I would download again and reinstall, if that does not work contact Embertone.

hey, Glyn.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion!

I have registered it, but via Kontakt and the activate button there. So when adding the library (again and again) it is already registered. The problem seems to be that it won't save that xml-file in the Service Center folder.
I asked this same question in the NI forums and got the suggestion to e-mail Embertone and ask for a copy of the xml-file to put it in the folder manually.

I sent away that mail a moment ago. We'll see what they say.

I'll update this thread later and tell you how it went, in case someone else runs into this problem.

..Actually... Now it seems to work!

Kontakt suddenly remembers the library and there's an Blakus Cello.xml in the Service Center folder!! :)

I'm not sure what I did, but when messing around I ended up in the Service Center install folder and there I found the file Reloader.exe ..I thought that might reset Service Center some how and gave it a shot. ..Not sure this is what solved the problem, but maybe :)

I've had to get help from the Embertone guys before (not this issue though) and they have always been very helpful. I'm sure they will get you sorted out.

Dan
