I'm waiting on the c64 version :)

yes there is money in apps.. but some dev's are going too far that way... at the expense of their flagship products.

I for one am excited for this. Love z3ta+ and would love to use it live with the iPad more than the laptop. Looking forward to it! :D

I guess it might be an additional source of revenue for Cakewalk to get into the iOS stuff (Good Thing) but I have no use for it and I do have reservations about how much attention will be diverted from Sonar. (Bad Thing)

I really don't get the tablet craze. I have an Android tablet and it's a neat toy, works well as a remote control for Denon receivers and such things, but I sure wouldn't want to do music production on it.

You can't really compare Android tablets to iOS devices for music creation. Latency makes Android devices unusable.

I love the z3ta+2. Having this on my iPad will make my portable DAW that much sweeter! Can't wait! Now, if the bakers can come up with an iOS version of Sonar like Cubase has done (and do it just well if not better) then I'll be extremely happy.

This +1

And being able to open your iOS projects from Sonar iOS in your desktop DAW.
