Is there a way to independantly monitor, using headphones?

The headphone output seems to latch to every active output ... and its output levels are dependent on the active output.

I'd hope to be able to control headphone volumes independently somehow.

Extreme thanks for any thoughts/suggestions !!!

OK after studying and experimenting a few pioneering hours (since I could not comprehend the documentation well nor the web info on this)

1) Using the OC control panel, set up to multiple monitors.

2) Connected Adams monitors to OC Output Jacks 3-4 (Instead of 1-2 (Mains))

3) Plugged the headphones to the OC front headphone jack (which the device recognized) ...

4) and
-- adjusted the Wave-Out 1-2 on Direct Mixer A for the headphones
-- adjusted the Wave-Out 1-2 on Direct Mixer B for the Adams (active) Monitors

(So there it is!  I hope this helps any of you other OC noobs who monitor independently with headphones and active monitors)

To send identical mixes to OUT1-2 and OUT 3-4 (but with different output levels), just use the patch bay feature of the Octa-Capture (see manual, page 11, http://www.roland.com/support/article/?q=manuals&p=UA-1010)

To do proper monitor mixes, I'd use sends to a bus which is routed to OUT1-2 while master bus is routed to OUT 3-4 (in your set-up at least)
