Hey mate, did I tell you I'm off to see The Stranglers in Brum in March?
They're doing a Ruby anniversary tour. It's been almost that long since I last saw them (Malvern Winter Gardens 1978) 
Is Hugh back in or still the 'new guy'?
I only saw 'em once, in about '82 at The Oasis in Swindon..which coincidentally where XTC hail from..now, did I ever tell you..
I don't think they'll ever get back together with Hugh mate.
They were a five-piece for a while (separate singer and guitarist), but they're now back to a four-piece with Baz Warne doing both. He's spot on doing Hugh's guitar parts but, unlike the previous singer (Paul Roberts), he sings his own way without trying to 'impersonate' Hugh.

I wonder, wasn't it Andy Partridge In A Pear Tree who borrowed your Marshall stack once?
