Guys,
Left field opinion here for what it's worth.
The lexicon reverbs are sweet. As good as the Valhalla and other stuff is, there is a smoothness in these plugs that blows most of the others away as I compare them. IK CR reverbs, others take a back seat.
The I-Lok for me alone is a deal breaker. Won't go there out of principle no matter how weak the principle is.
There are options that get the intent of the I-Lok strangled lexicon acchievable without the I-Lok crap.
One fine fine candidate is Reverberate. This thing costs about $80 but no dongle ****:
http://www.liquidsonics.com/home.htm Would like to get feedback on comparrisons, but think you can do anything missing above and beyond reverb-wise with the liquidsonics convolution engine, and not have to bow to a dongle. Noticed also for what it's worth, the variations on the Lexoion algorythms are rehash on an xml file, so how much original software are you actually getting.
Cclarry, thanks as always for posting new trends. Appreciate you.
