You know as well as everyone else I Am as UNfunnie as they come. AND I would NEVER use such toys as a sexual innuendo! I don't even like lava lamps! You forget my age! 
When went to the gig last nite I was asked is I needed at wheelchair at the door! When I got on stage I went to pull up my socks CUZ they were so wrinkled I discovered I WASN'T WEARING ANY!
Like I said ... BRAGGER! But it sounds like you did all right and then some! And if it takes wearing no sox to do a good job sax'ing, then so be it! No sox!
