Linear Phase
For those of you who may be atheists: Here's to wishing you, "an exciting string of random events without purpose. My you die happy, and hopefully you made the most of it, because for you the end is the end"
THE END
Many atheists DO celebrate winter solstice and the beginning of the new year. I know I do. We just don't bother giving those celebrations any fictional/supernatural meaning.
Just like we chose not to ignore that Christmas is a
100% recycled pagan holiday which cannot possibly coincide with the birth of Christ - like many Christians of various denominations will tell you (many Christians think that celebrating Christmas is heresy, even satanic. Just like celebrating your own birthday, incidentally. Or the new year.)
Atheists also find meaning and purpose in
actual life, because they know that the end
is the end.
Happy Birthday, though...
