I have them but I have not used them so I cannot say if they're special or not. Sorry I could not be more help.

Let me ask you guys who have Mixbus a question:  Is there any reason to get the "Plug in Essentials" which only has a reverb and a delay?  Do you guys use this Essential add-on or just use your other vst reverbs and delays ?
 
I have numerous great vst reverbs and delays and am uncertain what the advantage would be of having their "essentials".  I can certainly see the advantage of getting their Complete Bundle as it has Harrison XT Tooks with the multiband compressor and their patented EQs as they have that "Harrison" curve/design.     As I have said above,  I am uncertain if the complete bundle will be available or not.  I really just plan on using Mixbus as a final Mastering platform to load Ozone and TRacks on the 2/Master bus but also to get and have those Harrison EQ Tape, Compressors and their soft limiting/compression for the aux buses.
 
So for $39 Mixbus might be all I need, but wonder if their "Plugin Essentials" add-on is really being used by you veterans.  
 

Jeff Evans swears by all of the XTC plugs (as a mix/mastering suite).
 
That is my plan this year, to use only MixBus plugs since I will be using the heap I already own in SONAR and export stems to Harrison for finalization.

From the lack of response in the DONTCRAQUE forum it seems XTC-bc WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THIS GROUP BUY.

Yup, I believe that I am just as disappointed that there was never a reply from the Don'tCrack guy as I am that the XT-BC plug will not be included in the Group Buy...

With the mixbus upgrade all the plugins will be unlocked including the XT-BC.

Excellent except a few of us already have everything (from previous generous sales) except the XT-BC and no one would confirm that this sale would include XT-BC as a standalone purchase.

We can buy just the XT-BC plug from Harrison every day as that is the suggested price but, I'm still looking to get it for Bapu suggested price of $49.95 or less...

Over on their forum page they have a new note in which they say they have decided not to issue vouchers and just to have the links to the discounted products.  So go to this page http://store.dontcrack.com/group-buy/ and you will see which products are available.  I noticed that they do NOT have the XT-Bass listed.  Sorry to report that piece of bad news.  But they do have the upgrade and the compete bundle links if anyone wants to grab the everything/Complete package.

For someone who does not have mixbus, but wants it, the Complete package sounds like a decent price provided it is a purchase and not a subcription.
