Picked up for 89.00 (I think it was a pricing error, it is 174 now (which is the 50% advertised))
 
This is one of the best and sweetest sounding vsti  synths I have heard.  Some really weird sequences and such included.

I also originally picked it up with SONAR XL then upgraded from there. I love T4 but sadly have never built my own instruments. (Unfortunately same with Reaktor). Thought I would invest the time to really learn it but never seemed to be able to.
That said, there are many, many excellent presets available with the instrument and in the user library.

Outstanding - 
I find T4 excels in layering sounds - I'll often add string or percussion sounds with samples in eg Kontakt to add some character or 'realism' (weird given T4 is a modelled synth) to a blander sample set. Often do the same with either String Studio or Chromaphone.
I have a feeling there is (finally) going to be a T5 just around the corner

I see the OSX crowd is screaming for updated AU and RTAS.  Once I saw this was 64 bit I figured why not.
 
I have reaktor too, someday i will build my own noisemakers, but for now tweaking pre-sets works for me.
 
That layering must be what I hear, very rich textures.  Any rate cool beans.
 
Now I stop buying synths, for sure this time....
