I eq only just recently updated to Play 4 on my new studio PC on win 8.1.

All running ok but it's still early days just checking out things.

no way to demo an instrument ? just to check stability ? i really want Collosus /minsitry of rock 2/fab four/orchestra gold/storm drum 2 (still thinking if i get it) , voices of passion and spaces (this or Ra or darkside)

Hey, Zo!  new play engine 4.1.5 just came out yesterday... downloading now... half gig program... quite an update...although just mucked around for awhile with the last version and it sounds fine and much more responsive...
 
Maybe it's finally maturing... definately a lot easier to use than Kontakt!
 
Spaces... are real spaces and just beautiful (all the grand piano locations, orchestral halls...and much more, listed accordingly) plus lots of stuff like real plate reverbs from EW studios... I got lotz of verbs and only use Spaces... listen to any of the ewql demos... like their orchestral stuff... or choirs... all use elements of Spaces...

Well i went for Albion 3 and it's been a long time i didn't enjoy some like that ...yep it's nich but spot on for what produce this year ....
 
I might go fully spitfire but i'm very curious about the Goshtwriter from E/W but we have nothing of infos about this expet a poor 3 min video !!
 
Keep me informed anyway , i plan on going HP Z1 V2 this summer and will  do clean set up and i might go East West for general orchestral ....instead Kontakt ...and Albion for massive productions...
