I fondly remember the original Macs.  We used to use them as door stops...  Good to see they're still useful!
 

I was given the responsibility/job to do the actual purchase (Christmas gift) of the new retina MacBook Pro 15". Just, yesterday, I went ahead and got THIS at Best Buy. It's for my father in-law......the irony on all of this is, he'll be using it to surf the net, check emails, and do some light spreadsheet work.  
 
 

I got that exact same set up, but in 13" configuration last month. Same specs and everything.
