Pretty awesome I might add...however, I've been trying to clear my serial #'s
for duplicate products so I can sell them, and NI Support sucks the big one...
 
I've been waiting 4 days (after 4 emails) and no reply....

You mean I can sell my duplicates, even if I just upgraded to Ultimate 8 to Ultimate 9?

Any product from which you upgraded cannot be resold..unless you sell ALL of them together...
The orignal and the upgrade.

But, if you owned a product that was also included in Komplete before you bought it...
In my case a couple of them...then those I can resell...as they are included in what
I upgraded to and were not used to do the upgrade.

And anything that is NFR or EDU cannot be resold...

BTW...I FINALLY got a reply for NI...

Ah Larry, that sounds like the NI we have come to love...........
When the Kore Fiasco happened I sent a GREAT DEAL more than 4 emails before I got any kind of reply.
Whilst of course I would dearly love never to deal with them ever again, it's simply not an option, mainly because of third party suppliers for Kontakt (and some other great products they make!), so we have to grin and bear their rather autocratic view on Customer Service.

Agreed Nigel....while their support is terrible, their products are great...so I bow and grin and bear it!  LOL

I'm actually thinking about holding off on the install until I buy my new rig. I've had the funds stashed away for some time but have been putting it off due to the time and effort required to set up a new DAW (I'm dreading it). Perhaps the Komplete carrot will help get my arse in gear.

now THAT is a plan!!!

I got mine on the 8th and got my voucher on the 10th for $25.00 sent via email.. I was hoping for the voucher before there 50% deal ended on the 9th , suppose they did that on purpose ..
 Installation was a breeze.. I opted out installing the kontak library for a few samples i would never use nor find..
I did upgrade from komplete 7 to 9 . After running service center I had 27 updates, still havent patched all of them yet.
 all in all Im a happy camper..
   Its a shame I also have komplete 5 with 6 as an upgrade which I have the serial numbers on that free.. I should of posted it here for sale so others could of taken advantage of the 50% sale .. oh well I sell it next year if someone wants..
