I picked up mine for $50 a while back. That's the thing with Waves man, you never know if it's going to be even cheaper somewhere down the line. I picked up Element for the same price at the same time.

Just downloaded the demo and was blown away!  Purchased it 30 minutes later for $89.  Sounds great on cymbals and percussion.  Haven't tried it on guitars yet but will probably be a useful tool as long as I use it sparingly and don't overdo it! I remember hearing about this during Linda Ronstadt's glory days.. I feel like I now own a little piece of history!

Would I be right in saying that Cake (or for that matter Native Instruments) does not supply a 64 bit VST exciter? (I know there are Direct X plugins).
