Sigh. Spent so much on software lately but I'm in.

So something to note is that this pack includes Sound Forge Pro 10, which is Sony's audio editor that is kinda like Wavelab from Steinberg. Supposedly the upgrade to 11 is free. Given that Sound Forge alone costs more than this, it is a good deal.

I had to go for it because I've wanted a heavy hitting editor for a long time, but haven't wanted to spend the money. Sound Forge Audio Studio works well, but it can't do all the things one might want (like surround).

Vegas is just a bonus. I can't imagine actually having much use for it, since I have it at work, but hey, doesn't hurt to have.

For those that haven't used it, Vegas is a pretty heavy hitting NLE video software (audio too). Not quite on par with Avid Media Composer, but close. You can cut TV show/movies with it, and people do.

Vegas also makes a decent multi-track adio editor since that is where its roots lie.

That's an amazing deal

Yep, that's an off-the-charts deal; Vegas Pro alone sells for $599, and they're kicking in SoundForge which goes for $399... and selling the whole deal for $299.

This is the one to go for if you're a first-time buyer of Sony software products.

Mine was that sickly mustard. Yep, donuts & great for lawn jobs.
My brother who was an engineer at GM, designed & fabricated a custom stereo for it. Sounded fantastic & in quad.
(drove it to catch Floyd's Dark Side tour in concert too, quad was 'in' back then)
At one time I put in 'Mind Blower' speakers mounted on a wooden frame.
Way before RAP, this sleeper stereo was loud!
Crappy car, but great times & music.

That reminds me of the '71 Econoline I had...

It was White, had Cragars and 60's all the way round, was divided into 2 rooms,
the front one was Red Shag carpet with Paneling and the back room was Gold
Shag carpet with Paneling.  I bought Red Velvet Captains Chairs, and put Red Pillowed
Velvet on the Dash and Dog house, and a Custom Wooden and Chrome Steering Wheel.
It had a Pioneer Super Tuner...which cost an arm and leg back then, and 2 Full Size Top of the
Line Utah Home Stereo Speakers.  We used to go to the park to play frisbee, open the back doors and set the
speakers at the back and blast the music.  It was a slant 6 with a 3 on the Tree...Oh yeah...good times!

Those were the days my friend...those were the days!

Amazing deal. Well done for pointing it out cc!

Unfortunately, it doesn't ship out of the States or I would buy it.
