Now I know everyone is trying to overcome GAS or even VGAS but I just had to mention Hollow Suns new offering - VKS 20, which is a recreation of the Roland MKS 20 plus of course Steve has added some other goodies.
I used to have one of these and use it a lot until it went irrevocably wrong a few years back.
This is a spot on replication plus the new bits (string patches and layering etc) make it more versatile.
one thing I couldn't quite get on with was the Chorus, which I thought was not exactly like the original - I put an instance of D16's Syntorus on, dialed in about 15% / 20% wet setting and bingo, just as I remembered it.
This does sound fabulous I think and I have already written and told Steve what a great job he has done on this.
Just 20 quid at the moment.
