At $149 its a great price to get into the ARC 2 technology, not to mention a pretty great sounding mic to use later on for recording as well.

Man, it's a trip to listen to some of my favorite records - like Pink Floyd stuff. There are so many nuances in the music that I never noticed before even with dozens (or hundreds) of listenings... It just constantly blows me away. And the mixes I have been making are better for it (I need to get around to finishing some current stuff). I think the trick is to really focus on getting the mic in the right areas for the calibration routine.

Do you need the pro version of Winamp to use VST's?

Anyway... I just ordered it.  $165 for ARC is sweet.  It debuted at $700.

I could do that.  I just choose not to.

I'm sure the millions to help with living expenses instead of a "day job" helped clear up some time to make Reaper. ;)
