(... btw, do you like Garry Moore?)

I certainly do Pedro - I like his blues, rock and metal; as well as his contribution to Thin Lizzy and his collaborations with (the incomparable) Phil Lynott

To name just a few - Parisienne WalkwaysOut In The Fields and Still Got The Blues are some of my favourite tracks of all time

Sorry to sidetrack Steve, but have you heard this short-lived line-up?

BBM - City of Gold

Of course it's Crossroads by another name but the solo at 1:20 is one of my favourites from GM.

Apparently Moore and Baker hated each other so it was one album only...

I vaguely remember the project James, a good mate of mine was a big Cream fan and I remember him telling me all about it knowing I liked Gary Moore's stuff.  I never got around to checking it out though - but that clip is excellent mate, Moore doing what he does best.

I just ordered the (remastered) album you mention (Around The Next Dream) from Amazon -  got to be a bargain at £4.99

Thanks for the heads up on that James

Reason why I asked was because Garry Moore has my favorite rock song solo of all time. In his first album there is a cut named "Spirit" that still is for my ears the craziest guitar solo I have ever heard. And some of your playing, for some reason reminded me of his stuff. And of course, I happen to like Nuclear Attack and that other big rocker on Greg Lake's first solo album.

I have the LP. If you want to hear it let me know ... and love the side 2 in its entirety and how it goes from that crazy solo to the last song ... awesome. Totally awesome!

Here's another one you might like Strammy (sorry to keep emptying yer wallet!) - quite different for GM, a sort of experimental trio thing, very dark compared to his usual fare;

Scars

Going for £2.98!!!
