  My thought has been that I will grab pro tools at some point,  I doubt I will have it upgraded to the latest/greatest version but just to have and become familiar with, and to be able to say yes, I have it.  I am going to grab X3 in the next day or so, as well as S1 Professional.  I am also going to be adding some hardware, adding Ram to my system, and with this upgrade cycle I am going to stop running the 32 bit versions and jump to 64 bit on both platforms.
