Speaking of eating, my personal favourite is a Hammy Sammy....i.e...Becan - nuff said.
Hammy Sammy Recipe1 stick of butter
2 teaspoons of poppy seeds
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons Worcestershire
12 rolls of Hawaiian bread
1/2 pound of shaved ham
8 slices of Swiss cheese
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Once it is all melted add the poppy seeds, Dijon mustard and Worcestershire and simmer for a couple of minutes. Just make sure you don’t have any lumps and that the mixture is fully incorporated.
2. Take the package of Hawaiian bread rolls and cut them lengthwise in half, place the bottom an aluminum foil lined 9 x 13 pan.
3. Pour half of your mixture from the saucepan over the bottom half of rolls.
4. Next, layer the ham and cheese.
5. Put the top of the bread on, then pour your remaining sauce on top and cover with aluminum foil.
6. Pop this all into a preheated, 350 degree oven and bake for 20 minutes.
Eat and enjoy!
