Freebies are sometimes worth less than what you paid for them.

 
To use this feebie I had to create an UVI account AND an iLok account, so the install and activation took a while. You don't need an iLok as you can put the licence on you hard drive.
 
After jumping through the loops I was very disapointed by Mello. I was not expecting too much over an above the 'trons I have already but IMHO this does not come close to M-Tron pro or Hollow Sun's Newtron Bomb. The RRP is $99 an I can't see how that is justified, no wonder they have been giving it away.
 

 I do have an iLok account I set up a year ago (for the only plugin I have that requires this (one of S. Slate's promotional plugs)), but I thought installing this freebie seemed to be (like Bit said), not worth the price. Besides, what more can I ask for than IK's very own 32 bit SampleTron.
 

Was wondering whether it was worth installing or not, thanks for the input. Will just shelve it.

I'm not installing.  It took me forever to get all the hidden crap Pace (iLok parent company) puts on your computer after i uninstalled a similar product.  It was harder to get rid of than a virus.
