Thanks for the heads up. That's cheaper than upgrading for existing Kitcore users! At the moment we dont even know what is in Drumcore 4. I just want a 64 bit player for my existing content. At the moment it does not look like I can get that without paying for a load of audio loops I don't want and would never use.

Lots of parallels with Sampletank 3 here.

I'm with you on this - I've never really used drumcore so am not completely sure how it works, but audio loops are of no interest to me either.
And yes the parallels between this and Sampletank are very clear to see - and both these companies are very big in iCrap stuff.............so does big in iCrap equate to ignore your original customers????

A bit of a followup on getting Kitcore working in 64 bit Sonar X3

I installed Kitcore and expansions without any issues and it seemed to be working, even syncronising to the project tempo. I tried to create a track template and CRASH. Kitcore caused a teleport server error and X3 locked up.

So I dug out Jbridge and installed it. So far so good.

I had wondered if I was viewing Kitcore with nostalga but auditioning some of the kits and grooves it is rather good. OK, its not BFD or Superior Drummer, but the sounds are "mix ready" and very useable and there are some very good MIDI grooves too. I just hope it is stable enough to use withX3/Win 8 and does not show the instability I experienced using it in 64 bit Sonar 8.5 and Vista.

Great minds think alike! I just did the same thing (re installed and Jbrdiged) - it seems to working fine in X3D - only just finished doing it so not really tried too much as yet but seems OK so far. If it proves a problem my plan was to move it to my old 32 bit machine and run it through Vienna Pro - I've done that very successfully for other problematic 32 bit VSTi's such as Sampletank

Glad you guys got it going! I love my Kitcore sounds, but I must admit, I just bought BFD3. It should be delivered today. I just couldn't wait any longer for DC4 to actually be released. I'm hoping I'll be happy with BFD3. If not, Kitcore still works great with jBridge.
