Me too Dave. 

I joined the forum just a little time before all the speculation about his passing and was blown away by all the concern for him so much so that I stopped by his building on the Upper West Side to inquire about him (and was given the sad news by his super). Really seemed like a top guy from reading some of the posts about him - it's funny but seeing his distinctive avatar is usually the first sign I get that an old thread has been resurrected. 

I enjoy seeing his posts in a resurrected thread because it makes me feel like he will always be here with us in spirit.
