I was just wondering if anybody uses this software?

Have Live Lite 6 cd's that came with audio interface and midi keyboard, but never installed.

Many people love Ableton...

But I just couldn't bear to look at it.  I just don't like the look or the workflow.

But that's just me...

install it & find out! live is the dog's bollocks for loop/pattern-based tunes, or a scratch pad for knocking u0p an arrangement - imagine the big big big big big brother of matrix view :)

I love Ableton and I use the regular version.

A guy create music with installed Live Lite when he bought a MIDI controller. He likes it so much that even though he has paid for an upgrade to the regular version, he is still using the Lite version. He'll upgrade eventually though.

Live is awesome, it's a very different beast than Sonar but together they compliment each other very well. And with 64-bit rewire and all that, it's even easy

Just in case it came with an M-Audio package, I got Live Lite 6 and when I updated it installed a second version I couldn't use. I sent an email to M-Audio asking about this and they said to download the newest version and gave me a new registration code. So I have Live Lite 9 "installed" but only opened it a few times... I didn't find it overly intuitive, but have read posts where people swear by it for certain audio tasks (slicing,  stretching, etc.)
