Just a funny (??) thought, X2 is not even advertised in the vs700 forum.

Is there at least one person somewhere that is assigned to VS-700 support??

Just asking....

I think they invested quite a lot, but it didn't pay out by far - so they had to pull the plug.

I call the vs 700 forum Zone 51 , or bermuda triangle ...

i don't even know if i'm gonna still tell my students that are interested in , to consider the VS 700 as we have ZERO infos on the life of the product and those past 2 years weren't that encouraging ...

It's probably worth saying that the EQ button problem is the only thing I've found so far that's broken in X2, and I'm sure this will get patched. Shame it slipped through, but hey. In the meantime you can still use the channel strip control section of the VS700 by clicking on PC modules to select them rather than using the EQ button.

@John T , I was clicking on the PC modules and not able to alter them.... also the Display names vanish.... See thread below this one.

i get display latency , selection issues , act assignement weirdness (assign A to 1 and B to 2 and i get B to 1 and A to 2 ...a lot of time !!)..and since  the first day  (release)  i have pointed this to support , i still have a * displayed when a french word have a "é" !!! .....i mean , they just don't give a damn OR it's too complicated for them ...in both case : shame !

This is my 1 minute upset moment !

Norrie: what I've found is that if you press the EQ button at all, then it's broken from then on (including the blank names problem). However, if you haven't pressed the EQ button at all since you last started Sonar, the clicking method works. That's how it is for me anyway.

Zo: display latency is a pain, but it's not new to X2, as such. It's been like that ever since the modular PC was added in X1 Expanded, if I recall correctly.

So theres no ACT preset for V-700 C or the PC modules in X2? I'm wondering what V-700 C updates everyone is using.
