According to the video blurb (which I have now read), the diver ended up outside the bottom of the cage and was able to let the shark do its thing until it popped out, then he calmly swam back up into the cage. Still, I would have been a basket case for weeks. I'm not keen on any kind of sea critter, let alone a shark. Two incidents from my youth saw to that:
1) In Sardinia I was lying on an inflatable bed out on the ocean and a huge wave crashed over me and slopped a large jellyfish on my stomach. I had to lift it off, and the stings hurt like billy-o.
2) In Corfu I was, again, on an inflatable bed except that this time I looked down into a calm ocean to see a giant stingray relaxing in the shade about a foot beneath me. I was absolutely petrified and didn't even want to put my hands in the water to paddle back to shore. Meanwhile, the current took me out further and further to sea, and I was about a quarter mile from the shore when the little basterd decided to go run some stingray errands or whatever it is they do.
