I meant to get some of these ages ago when my tendon problems were flaring up again but didn't bother after it died down. Now I'm starting to get tendon pain in my left arm again (combination of overdoing the weight training in the gym and years of trying to play Bach fugues ) so I've ordered some. You can get the full version (weightlifting grips plus wrist support) for a little more than the price of the wrist supports offered here. Might be worth looking into if you're a musician who suffers from tendon problems.

Another thing I've found helps is the Theraband Flexbar - it's a rubber bar that you twist in a certain way which has been proven to alleviate tennis elbow. I really need to get another one of these as well...I lost mine a while ago. You can pick them up on Amazon. There are various thicknesses.

Hey I think a rubber bar is a great idea!  That way if you get drunk and fall into a wall it doesn't hurt.

Actually the wrist straps look interesting.

Yep - think I might just snag me some of those.

This has actually reminded me that I need to get some flexible rubber banding to help my wife's recovery from a shoulder injury

Hi,

Any Sporting Goods store has these for $1.99!

I used them in the earlier days of playing tournaments in tennis on my left wrist, as I was a serve and volley lefty and the serves had a lot of spin and touch and turn, that after a couple of hours in a tournament, it would hurt some. Volleying was easier because you mainly kept your writs straight and it was a matter of making sure you were ready for it, and the rest was easy!

Not having any issues playing music, though my fingers get tired fretting and stretching on the bass, and I do have to get up from the keyboard now and then to stretch my fingers and hands.
