Oh, and my Prog Rock list:

Harmonium - L'Heptade
Harmonium - Les 5 Saisons

Though there's no chance of you guys knowing about those. Harmonium was an incredible band from Quebec, in the 70s. I don't like music from back home all that much, but Harmonium I regard very highly. In fact, they're the only prog rock albums I really like.

Do you really have that little faith in my extensive collection?

I've got their self-titled album (and will now add the two you mention to my "wishlist" - also known as where all of my "fun" money goes since I rarely go out any more and don't buy toys much either!).

Wow, really?!

Seriously, I don't think you will be disappointed. The first album was good, but L'Heptade is EPIC. It's a concept album, with the orchestration and synths and all.

Incidentally, the friend of ours we jammed with back in Montreal during our last passage was an official member of Harmonium for the L'Heptade tour... Seeing how I regard this one as one of the greatest albums ever and I've been listening to that stuff since I was 17 or so, you can imagine I had to drink a few cold ones before I even dared picking up the guitar to play with him...

Yep.  This is the cover of that first album.  I'm guessing playing with this guy would be a bit intimidating as well!  LOL.

LOL

I'd say that there's as much difference between that one and l'Heptade as there is between Love Me Do and Strawberry Fields Forever.

Man, I don't know how you guys can do that so easily!  It would take me hours to whittle down the thousands of albums I have - if I even could...

Actually, you guys just gave me an idea for a new thread.

Ok......we get it....you have a lot of albums ;)

For the benefitof Bristol Jonesey's idea, I'll cut straight to the stats.....

I have 5 from the OP list
2 from Jonesey's
2 from Strummy's
1 from James G's
0 from Glyn's

1 from Jonesy's is the one on James G's list
both on Strummy's list are also in the OP list.

Answers on a postcard.................
