I see wot you dun there.
Wondered who's be the first to acknowledge my comic genius
so... Toontrack Superior is 2nd Dawg now?...or?
Absolutely, for me there is no argument.
I know it's always going to be contentious and it's horses for courses and so on but head to head BFD3 is....erm... ahead and it ain't no photo finish
For me I always preferred BFD2 over superior anyway. I like big huge upfront drums and that's what I got with BFD2 plus 10 complete kits, with a wide variety of styles and top notch effects. I found it hard to think of ways to improve on BFD3 when fxpansion were asking users what they'd most like to see in BFD3 but as much as BFD2 was sexier to look at the new UI is really simple ans straight forward so the work flow is much quicker. There are so many other little things that fxpansion have done apart from cymbal swell on all cymbals including hi-hats and tom resonance that have made it well worth the upgrade. The new kits from platinum samples whilst not having the variety of the BFD2 stock are much more detailed and natural sounding.
I could go on..............and on.....................but all I can say is.............GET YOURSELF THE DEMO!!!

And give it some time.
