  • For anyone and perhaps everyone, have that fine Turkey Day!

I think I may be eating some chicken though, perhaps some turkey, perhaps something else.
If some people may be working, remember if I can help it and I can, I won't be there at any store, starting it's Black Friday whatever it is called - open before like the Nite before, because there will still be a Jam where I can at least have a beer or two and craziness there if anyone shows up that Nite.

Ah!
(That does not mean that anything good will be played music wise at the weekly jam - but it is something to do!)
(More like Stuffed Music perhaps that Nite from Stuffed Humans!)

I will be working from dawn till dusk like I do every Thanksgiving...however, being a Brit I don't mind missing the holiday at all. Missing holidays only sucks if they were holidays you had when you were a kid. I've never felt the Thanksgiving magic so I have no idea what I'm missing...Christmas however, I always work and it SUCKS!

Thanksgiving seems like a get out of jail day to overly stuff yourself. I'm happy and give thanks to having the day off......I don't really need a special to stuff meself.

Cornish game hens seems to be on the menu.....

I am trying to avoid that stuffed feeling, but then again Turkey Day just does not seem the same to me anymore.
??

That way I won't have to be mounted on the wall.

For us it's ham instead of turkey, with candied yams, peas & pearl onions, rolls and some wonderful desserts along with a full day of football.

One turkey turns to the other and says " If my Paw could see me now he'd turnover in his gravy."

Last year was supposed to be our first American Thanksgiving but things didn't work out as planned. Now, this year, thanks to our friends here, it looks like we'll be enjoying THE traditional Thanksgiving feast, with turkey, sweet potatoes, pies and all...

If we enjoy it even only half as much as we enjoyed our first 4th of July, we'll have the greatest Thanksgiving ever.
