For those not living in the US, Thanksgiving is a day when we remember the  time the early settlers got together with natives from North America. In this case it was a meal with pilgrims and Indians said to have involved turkey, this was very first American Thanksgiving . For this reason we eat a lot of turkey on this day. It is also a time to reflect on what we are personally thankful for to our God , although the day might only be regarded as a day off for some Americans if they can take off. The heritage of the day is one of thankfulness.

Ever since I can remember we have met with family for  meals on this day. So I'm soon getting out of here for awhile. Sunday I'm hosting a meal in celebration of that day. If I don't get back here for awhile I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!...even if you don't celebrate it.
