Expect a new release today. The reason given for why 0.7 and 0.7.1 were not on the website was:

We haven't actually officially released 0.7 on the website because we needed some hands on testing first to ensure that most users have a good experience with the upgrade. The plugin scanner and tuner are good examples of how things sometimes go wrong.

I've been using it and It's really good. Better than any other Guitar Midi solutions.. Yes, fast attack patches are glitchy but workable. Pads, and strings are great.. I am getting low latency here.  It's the audio interface that dictates that.
Anyone using Omnisphere with it.   I want to buy that but I'd like to know that it triggers at least as good as Dim Pro or Rapture.  Some synths trigger better than others with this Midi software.  All said  It is really great to finally be able to play synths with my guitar.  now I'll have to break out the Allan Holdsworth Albums and check out the style of play.  Oh  BTW I purchased it.  Well worth the 99 bucks.
Brad:  Here are two youtube videos where there is the use of this Jam Origin Midi Guitar software program driving Omnisphere mostly for pads:

When Jam Origin released Beta 0.7.3 they said the pace of releases would increase. Don't think this is what they meant. Beta 0.7.4 out today on the website.

Hey Scook.  Thanks for the posts and updates.  I have subscribed to Jam Origin site and also follow the KRV thread, but have a question for you since you got it working.

I have not been able to get Jam Origin Midi Guitar to work in Sonar X2 as it never outputs the midi even with "enable midi" checked.  I did the regedit change value to 1, and use loopmidi, and check "enable midi output" on the synth properties page, and make sure that the Jam Origin Midi Guitar vst is checked "configure as synth" on the plugin property page in the plugin manager.  Still, it never gives midi output, so I can't select it for any software synth's midi input.
I am just using the trial version.  Is that part of the limitation of the trial?  Any suggestions for getting it up and running in Sonar?

BTW, I have two Axon's and a Roland GI20.  I almost bought a GR55 but after using my friend's for two weeks I was not impressed.  The Jam Origin Midi Guitar looks like a good investment for a small amount of cash.  The developer is proactive in getting it up and bug free;  I really want to use it as an alternative to my Axons and synth ready guitars.  It would be nice to use non synth access guitars for a change.

Any thoughts on how to get it working in Sonar x2a?

I use SONAR Producer X2a 64bit on Win7 Home Premium. I do not use loopMIDI. I set it up following the directions http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=2749799 To use it, drop MIDI-Guitar into an audio track FX bin, enable input echo on the audio track, enable MIDI output on MIDI-Guitar in the synth rack, insert a softsynth track, change the input to MIDI-Guitar (MIDI Omni) and play. I did have to go back an re-edit the registry after resetting VSTs after installing X2a. I am sure that I got it working in 0.5.3 trial before buying a license but that was almost 6 month ago and I cannot say for certain.

Thanks scook for this....I also had the same problem as cecelius2. I'm glad the scanner issue is resolved.

Although it's much improved and I totally love being able to use my guitar to play soft synth's, it doesn't quite pick up the faster riffs (yet). Playing slower seems to be working out really well and I'm very inclined to buy the full version as the developer seems to be positively moving towards improving JO.

How's tracking in X2 with this been for you?

Tracking is OK. Do not believe the host matters. Would not want to play it live unless I was just using it for slower bits and pads. There is some amount of playing to the plug-in.
