Jet has been around since 2001, but I got a new Nikon 50mm 1.8G prime lense that I am testing.  I forgot how sharp the images can be coming out of a prime lens.

That's a Rickenbacker isn't it?
They always had an unique sound!
Well,  a Rickenbacker bass guitar anyway.
Don't seem to see them as often anymore.

Fender brains, Fender strains, make up something I guess, call it a song, play it with a Rickenbacker.

Spacealf, Rick guitars do have a very distinct tone to them; a sound all heir own. Love the 12 string guitar jangle you get from a Rick.

The bass has a distinct sound as well, but different from what most think. Most people think that it has a very trebly sound to it based on how Chris Squire went out of his way to get that trebly tone. In actuality, it has a distinctive growl that comes from the bridge pick up and is perfect for Rock; especially pronounced with round wound strings. The Rick bass has a very solid punchy bottom end as well and can get a variety of tones based on your touch and pickup selection. I have La Bella Flats on it right now and I am definitely getting that McCartney thumpy tone that you associate with his playing. The bass is also known for its outstanding sustain. The tone I am getting right now sounds exactly like stuff off the Abby Road album, think Come Together or Something as an example.
