Been meaning to pick this up for some time. Just purchased, as the price is definitely right. I wonder if anyone has any experience with Progression - also half off at ~ $25. Don't know if it's just a stripped version of Notion - seems to be more targeted to song creation... but I don't have a feel for the workflow. Maybe I'll look for a demo. Anybody have both Notion and Progression?

Progression seems to be more band oriented where Notion 4 is more orchestral based. Although, you get the same Zaza guitar, Wooten bass and drum samples in Notion. Progression does not have the extensive library of orchestra samples.

Hey Sid - are you using 64 bit rewire? I seem to have a pitch issue between Notion 4 when rewired into SONAR x3C. If I enable MIDI echo with a piano in Notion and any other synth in SONAR at the same time, there is more than a semitone of difference between the two. It's not a tuning issue - notion is set for A=442 hz - I set Addictive keys to (A=)442 in SONAR. If I export from Notion into Sonar, staff view and PRV match what's recorded in Notion - so it seems to only be playback via Rewire that is the issue.
I know some early "solutions" for notion Rewire to 64 bit sonar involved Loopbe or similar virtual MiDI cable devices. I am not doing anything but enabling Rewire in Notion and opening Notion as a Rewire device in SONAR X3C.
Any ideas?

Anybody?

Well I see the root cause. My audio drivers are 24 bit/48K in SONAR (ASIO, Presonus 1818VSL) - When I set up to use 24 bit/44KHz instead, everything sounds as it should between the soft synths in SONAR and and instruments (or softsynths) in Notion 4. So this appears to be an issue where the Rewire driver itself (either in Notion, or in SONAR or maybe as supplied by propellerheads) assumes/insists on running at 44K(?).
I have several older plugs that are 32 bit rewire, but nothing else beyond Melodyne Editor and Notion 4 that are Rewire 64 bit.
If anyone is using Rewire 64, are you seeing pitch issues if you are using audio driver settings other than 44K?
Meanwhile I will report this to both Notion/Presonus and CAKE to see where it goes.
