So, for you, it's a no brainer , but (excuse me if I'm still a little hesitant) don't you think that if we have already libraries like the Spectrasonics stuff, Mixosaurus, Galaxy II ... we are used to work with,  will not all these Komplete Ultimate vsti be redundant or less attractive ? Do you think that they will be, on the contrary, a very good complement ?

I think the NI stuff is quite stellar...so it all comes down to a matter of perspective...
What you're going to get for $400 is about $5,000 worth of VSTi's retail.
So, it you have even remotely considered a couple of these VSTi's, it's a no brainer...
Even if you never use the other ones...and you get a portable hard drive in the deal also...

Oh these 50% off deals are killing me......I was thinking of getting Komplete 9, but can't afford to right now.......
However, Kontakt 5 at $49.50 is very tempting.
 
Is K5 significantly "better" in general useage than K4? I realize the new Time Stretching, Pro Effects, Filters etc....features are added in K5, but do you find them to be useful?  
Any other things you've noticed?

Get Komplete 9. You can miss eating for a fortnight.

LOL!!!

I went for the Scarbee Ricky bass.
Been wrestling with the idea of going for Komplete 9.
Komplete won....I'm going to pick it up sometime this week.

I have 6 expansion packs to sell / transfer,  just in case anyone isn't interested in buying the whole thing.. I'll have to double check they are all included in k9.
 
 
 

I finally received my last Serial number today after 2 emails and a 20 minute phone call. Note to self, don't waste time on email, call'em...
 
Apparently my orders were marked as suspicious because I made 3 separate orders over a 3 day period... Go figure. NI is worried about me? Nah.

I also wonder why the ****in forum software thinks that S.u.s.p.i.c.i.o.u.s. is a bad word?
