Has someone experienced something like this in the past? VST scan normally finds the plugin, I put it to a folder in my layout file in Plug-in Manager, but when I want to insert that plugin in a track - it's missing in the folder. Reboots / rescans etc. don't help. It's also missing in Default all plugins view.
I have also Guitar Rig 4 LE which is available normally.
Thank God I bought BC PatchWork VST recently which works as VST host and I can load GR5 into it normally.
I guess I need to open a support ticket?

Is is configured as a synth? If so, it will only appear in the synth layouts change it back to a tempo-based effect and it should show up in the effect layouts.

I don't know how I could configure is at a synth. Anyway it shouldn't be the case, it doesn't appear under VSTi in Plugin Manager or in Insert Soft Synth, it's shown correctly as VST. But still it's not available as Audio FX afterwards.
 

Did you use the VST reset option or just rescan?

Found plug-in properties, verified that Configure as synth is not checked. Did a reset, no change, still visible in plug-in manager but not in Sonar.
 

If the plug-in is enabled in the Plug-in Manager and "Default All Plug-ins" layout does not show the plug-in, I have no idea other than to contact support.
