  • Well it looks like the purchase of BFD3 was a big mistake

I really don't like buggy software, where you are walking on eggshells to use it, hence why I jettisoned EastWest Play for Kontakt. But I decided I'd give BFD 3 a try, despite it using its own engine...

Things are not off to a good start. The License manager can't authorize it, and when it tries to generate a support ticket, it goes haywire and fills the screen with hundreds of error boxes. This does not bode well for the actual software ><.

I think I may make a strict rule of only Kontakt from now on. It seems like they are one of the only sample companies that can make their software work like it should :P.

Please check out the fxpansion forum or contact support if you haven't already. The software is great. Hopefully you can get through the license manager issues to give it a chance.

2 does everything I need and I've used it for years. But I don't go in to all of the features that plug supports. It's pretty intense software actually.

It works great for me.  When I had a problem I posted and also logged a support ticket and got great response.  Did you reinstall?

I have it installed and it's GREAT!!!

No issues whatsoever.  There might be something that you have running that may be interfering with
the BFD Installer.  Just a thought.  I'd definitely hit the forum and post a support ticket and a post about
the issue.

I don't need a lot of it either but I had to have the cymbal swell feature.  The new kits are a big step up also.
