Was doing the grocery with my wife this afternoon while the usual bland 80s pop/musak/background noise was interrupted by Link Wray's Rumble. And I totally Jimmy Paged it. :)

Wasn't that the coolest movie scene ever?

Great movie. I love the fact that Jimmy has no problems with being a rock star. It's great when the other guys are driving to the set in their cars and Jimmy is in the back of the little English car with his driver at the wheel. Classsss.

It fully rocks, but in 2/4 - which is still better than 7 Eleven, obviously.

I'm sorry but... rocks are not food, whole or otherwise.

Apparently this was the tune that made Iggy Pop choose rock 'n roll too.

Hard to imagine, but in its time Rumble was very subversive.

Unless of course the muzak was the Mahavishnu Orchestra.
