Digital videos claiming to be bringing back vinyl. Genius.

So you want me to buy a VHS video camera then send everyone a VCR and a tape to watch all the video blogs? ]

I don't have to be reminded of my childhood.  I'm still in it (albeit minus the parts that were annoying or creepy).

So you have to somehow delete your memories of Bapu in your childhood?

Doh, that's not it either.

Just go to a club and play records on a turntable plugged into a Macintosh tube amp (not that Tascam preamp in yer vid).

Paul, I enjoy your videos.Perception is cool in that we can gain ideas. The way I see it since my collection of vinyl albums containsmany mint and virgin vinyl (that has never seen a needle) ishaving a table that I would spin them on.Don't get me wrong. I don't mind what you spin yours on buta Numark, or whatever that was, is not going to cut it. I'm looking forward to seeing your video about bringing backthe affordable tables worth spinning a "real" vinyl album on. Now I do have an almost complete collection of Beatles jukebox 45s (missing a rare red one)that have never been played so if you include nice jukebox selection that would be great too.(not to mention many Beatles 45s that the jukebox would never see but a nice table would.) So maybe...vinyl isn't really dead...just protected from a screwed up hardware marketing issue...for some of us. Including isolation, balance, aligning and stylus info would be a great addition if you go for a video series on the subject.

Thanks Spacy.

Hadn't thought of the subject of affordable tables worthy of spinning decent vinyl on. Could be cool thing to research for sure.

However, I am pretty sure whatever I listened to my Beatles albums on in the 70s was probably less worthy than the 100 dollar turntable you saw in the video.... Now if I knew the model of my old turntable when I was ten compared to the one I just bought ...that might be an interesting one too no?

Well maybe not

What does Bapu think?

Why can't I just listen to my vinyl through the tascam? Doesn't bother me. It cost too much money at the club and they tend to kick me out of those places.

My table wore out years ago Paul so I packed up all the albums
and continue to stash new ones hoping some day I'll get the fun
coins to build another audio system. Always something that seems more
important.

I don't know what Bapu thinks...telepathy doesn't work for me. I did try
to pickup on his last tune but didn't get a thing.

But keep up the videos...they're very cool. Wish you could trip to England and
film that auction...especially the Beatle stuff.

It's been said that Bapu hardly ever thinks.
