I don't purchase dongle-protected software as a matter of principle. I was wondering therefore if anyone knew of a reasonably decent choir VST that is copy-protected in the usual "register over the internet" way.

The ultra cheap option http://nando.oui.com.br/pages/soundfonts.html akanowhere near the level of the first two but free and not bad for such a tiny file

Most of the good choir libraries are going to run under Kontakt or some other software sampler.  Strezov makes a really good and reasonably priced female (and now male too) choir that runs in the full version of Kontakt.

There are some minimal Choir sets it's SampleTank if you already have that...

They're not great...but they'll work in a pinch...and I think Dimension Pro has some also..

Let's to choose from out there...but, if you want the whammer jammers....better step up
to the Dongle plate.  It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be...

I don't want to rehash the dongle argument.  i simply refuse to touch dongles based on principle.  I find the idea that a company requires me to buy a third party product that offers me no extra functionality ridiculous.  It reminds me of when I was a kid in NJ and the wise guys would shake down companies for protection money...protection from them. I'll skip my past bad experiences with them.

Plus, If you lose it or it grows legs and takes a walk your problems are just beginning. Seems like a while back a lot of the dongle supporters were up-in-arms over an issue with iLok because they weren't able to authorize their new software. I guess time heals some wounds...
