Not sure where to post this...  I record songs I write, which are not rock, but most of the AD and SD loops and patterns that came with Sonar seem to be rock.  The same with SI.  Could anyone suggest a drum expansion pak or a loop/sample bundle or a different drum synth and/or same for bass that won't break the bank.

I know I can create the drums and bass parts, but I get lost everytime I try.  Working with loops is my speed right now.

Should I be looking at applying Groove Quantize to stock loops and samples?

For MIDI files, Groove Monkee has a wide selection covering lots of styles.  For loops, Big Fish Audio is a good source.  Good luck!

Thank you kindly.  Groove Monkee had some free stuff.

It depends on your price point but Toontrack's EZ drummer with the Nashville, Blues and Americana expansions would be right up your street.

The midi loops for Blues and Americana are sold seperatly.

I did that yesterday Glyn!  Got the Americana pak, ought to hold me for a while.  I can edit bass lines in PRV which does work for me if I stay focused...there's just so dang much to learn and so little time.
