you should ask everyone here on this forum who has benefitted from your shared knowledge and wisdom to donate $10 to the KBS (Keep Bitflipper Solvent) Fund. If you don't get enough to pay the bills, you should at least get plenty enough to enable you to buy something to make you forget about them for a good while.........

I set up a similar fund for me a while back.

Or, if everybody goes out and buys the new FabFilter Pro-MB plugin and lets me refer them, I'll be able to get it myself. Won't help with the hospital bills, but to paraphrase the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, new plugins will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no new plugins.

If you find a magic solution to your situation Bit, ol pal, please post it as I'm not far behind you. When you've run your own business and been your own boss for many years like we have it's nigh to impossible to start over again. Not on account of us, mind...but the perception of us. Here's a thought I've been toying with and have actually drawn some real interest in...teaching recording skills and modern daw usage at "tech" schools. Could be fun.

That would be fun indeed. I'm surprised that none of the struggling studios have thought of it. I actually used to teach at a tech school long ago (oscillators, amplifiers and electronics math). It was a fun time. Now, how to tout my expertise in tube circuits without admitting the reason I know that stuff is that I'm old as the hills?

Now you've got me thinking. I have some shoe polish and several retro "Cakewalk by Roland" T-shirts. In a drawer somewhere I have some white plastic earbuds, and the grandkids have a sheet of rub-on tatoos. My pants already tend to droop stylishly, having lost 20 lb. after the surgery. Would it be going too far to superglue a skull to my earlobe? If not, remind me again, which ear says "I'm gay" and which one says "I'm badass"?

The latest TapeOP has a story about Blackbird Studios and it's new recording academy.

The studios are already doing it.

WHAT????? That is just insane... I imagine the makers would disagree. I need a time machine... a used one cheap. Can I borrow a dollar?
 
I wish I could write a game... I wonder if there is a Whack-a-mole game. I'm sure if I made anything someone would sue me and take it.
