We just got a message telling our friend family in Leyte is OK.
Looking at the video footage and knowing that the storm went through areas with millions and millions of
inhabitants it's unbelievable IMO that the official victim counts so far and the estimations aren't bigger than they are.
Looking at the total devastation one might assume the estimations would
start at hundreds of thousands.
I promise I won't complain about the winter weathers this year.
