I bought and installed LP yesterday and It's not working correctly. Several pieces in the kit will not play and on those I can't click the arrow to change the drum. Everything is up to date and I've sent screen shots to Toontrack and have talked to them about the problem. They say they have not ever seen this before and do not have a quick answer. They say they will forward the problem on to the programmers in Sweden and get back to me someday. I've tried to un-install and re-install, but it hasn't made a difference. I've tried it in X2 also, it still has the same behavior. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any ideas on what to try next? The uninstaller inside the LP folder will not work either so I had to try and find it all, and manually delete.

Again today I tried to re download Latin Percussion (this time using Google chrome). Same result. 14 of the 26 pieces will not work at all.

I'll double check that...Thanks scook. I'm not optimistic though. I can't even click on the arrow of these pieces to change or sample the sounds. They don't work at all. It's strange. All other Toontrack expansions I have work fine and are in the same folders as the others. The uninstall won't work either. Toontrack told me that the LP epx and the Rock solid are different than the others and won't appear in the add/remove list. When I open the LP folder and click on uninstall it says I need to update to latest software. I have had Toontrack confirm that all of my software is the latest and they said they have never seen that error before. I guess I'm special!

Yep those are all in the sounds folder. At the bottom of the list in Sound stats it says 1079 kb.

Yeah, this is special. Never having an issue with Toontrack, I do not have many ideas about what to do. None of them very pleasant. In addition to an uninstall what about rolling back Windows to a point before the initial expansion pack install? Or a complete uninstall of everything Toontrack and install EZDrummer and just the Latin Percussion to see if it makes a difference.

Yeah, I've never had a problem with Toontrack either. I've thought about uninstalling all of my Toontrack stuff and starting over, but I don't know if this is worth it. I believe I'll wait and see if Toontrack ever write me back with a suggestion. I'm also considering selling the license at KVR and buying Session percussion from xln audio or maybe trying to find a latin percussion loops pack or something similar.

I had (still have) problem with Twisted Kit. The downloaded file was missing several wav files and only solution was for TT to send the dvd by mail.
Perhaps that is another thing to try?

That's not a bad idea...I'll suggest it to them. It looks to me like their download link has the problem since all other ezxs work fine.

From Toontrack,

Hi Clint,

Sorry for the delay. We are still awaiting to hear from our programmers.

We can not send you a disc because all physical discs contain license numbers. If we were to send you a disc we would be supplying an extra license number that has not been paid for.

(I can think of a few unkind and sarcastic things to say, but I will wait and see if they fix the issue first.)
