Probably not a problem for you now, sharke, but when we lived in Germany we had radiators.

Just not on your Volkswagen Beetles, ya?

My dad had Beetles when we were there. Rode them all over Europe.
The heat worked... okay.

A friend of mine had an old VW Beetle in high school.  We always considered it more of a reusable ballistic missle.

Mom bought these ceramic things you hang on them and fill with water to add moisture to the air. Seemed to work pretty well.

Man! I am sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better soon. The only "up side" is that you may get a bottle of Robitussin AC from your doctor. If you're going to be sick, you may as well enjoy it.

I had to go the ER last night, suffering acute abdominal pain and nausea. Got a CT scan and the good news was it wasn't appendicitis. Bad news: it's a frickin' kidney stone.

Ouch.  Sorry to hear that, Bit.  Good luck with that. Was it Dylan who sang "everybody must get stones"?

Any idea how your property in the Phillipines is holding up against this bir storm?

Linear, are you making any progress on your road to recovery?
