Wup Yup, that's where I bought Mercury from in Dec 2011. I watched the sales very closely and when it was just a shade over $2300 that's when I pounced on the package. BTW that price included a year of WUP so natch I gots me the 64bit Mercury package for free.

Ok ... so Waves installed the following:

Waves Shell - VST 9.0_x64.dll in a subfolder under "Program Files"

it also installed:

Waves Shell - VST 9.0.dll in the VSTPlugins subfolder of the Cakewalk folder under "Program Files (x86)"

Both of these files were also installed in a Waves folder under "Program Files (x86).

The relevant .dll files for the plug-ins were also installed in the Waves folder under "Program Files (x86)

It has me wondering ... are the Tubes, Tape and Transistor plugs 32 or 64 bit?

The shells dictate 32 and 64 (hence _64 in the name of one).

We must remember a 64bit dll can be installed *anywhere*. That means that the Program Files (x86) folder is not limited to 32bit files, it's used by most vendors who provide the option to user to dictate how their system is setup.

Sadly there is no true standard for install that all VST vendor adhere to.

Ol Pal, the Kramer plugs are loaded with tons of presets. Remember, they are in the black bar load button, not the grey bar one.
