Interesting that the EK is the least expensive of the Producers signature collection, I wonder why old Eddie is cheaper than his peers?

I noticed that too. Just guessing, but maybe it's b/c "classic rock" is not as popular with the masses today. With the trend leaning towards the pop, hiphop and bubble gum, sales of the Kramer collection might be down. Don't know much about the others, but i think the Maserati collection has more modules and an interesting acoustic guitar plug.

I liked that acoustic guitar processor, but I liked EKs drum and vocal processor a little better from the demo pages a bit better.

Just ordered EK Sig and at the final stage of the purchase, i saw a pop-up that i didn't like the look of. It said something like "Although this page is secure, the information you gave is being sent to where it can easily be read by a third party." What is that all about? I tried to stop it, but it looks like the transaction went through.

Yikes, that's nothing to re-assure a customer. No idea what it is, but I'd e-mail whoever it is you bought from and ask them directly.

im only hoping e krammers plug ins are cheaper than other because someone at his establishment is trying to lower the prices on his stuff.
because lets face it the prices on vsts have become redicules,i cant tell you the profits these companys are making but im sure their living nice.
and if they arnt, than the next guy is.are we ever going to see a nice drop in vst plug ins so the average joe can afford to own a nice daw and set up himself/herself with a good amount of verity?
i look at the waves bundle and just shake my head.

Curious to know how cheap is cheap? I've always considered anything around $100 to be reasonable, but we don't all have the same view on this.

If you look at how many plug-ins you get in those big Waves Bundles, the prices are actually pretty low. I mean significantly lower than average.

Most DAWs come w/ a decent amount of very good plug-ins. No one really needs to spend thousands of dollars on plug-ins, and I think Average Joe can put together a very nice home studio for a very reasonable budget. Why would he need all the top toys used by pro engineer to consider that he has a nice set up?

When plug-ins go cheaper and cheaper, they also lose their value. I own a bunch of them that I'd like to sell, right now. Unfortunately, they're now so cheap that I'd have to sell them for the cost of the license transfer - if I could find someone that even wants them. I'd literally have to give them away.

Rain, I contacted WavesUniverse and they said they tried to duplicate what happened and couldn't and that their site is secure. I believe them, but i think I'm gonna cancel that card and have the bank make a new one anyway just for peace of mind. People are slick out there... ---------------------------------- AFA the Eddie Kramer plugs though, they sound really nice and give great classic rock tones/vibes to everything and quickly. So far my only complaint is that there's no bypass on any of them.

Good call.

Man, we learn something new everyday. I'd never noticed there was no "bypass" because I use my host application's plug-in shell bypass button. Strange.

Am i missing something? i don't see a "W" write button on these plugs for writing automation. -------------------- Also, thanks for the recommendation yorol'pal. The Waves Universe price was certainly the best i've seen.
