I just tried this and am currently eating a bowl of sweet sweet pomegranate seeds.
It didn't exactly go according to plan. I realized that for some reason, I don't have a wooden spoon. I have this lame plastic one instead that isn't sufficiently thwacky. So I decided to use something else. You'd think I'd just try a normal dessert spoon but nooo....I figured my garlic press would be awesomely thwacky. It was...and I ended up splashing pomegranate juice all over the kitchen wall. It gets messy if you thwack too hard. So for the second half you'd think I'd just try a normal dessert spoon but nooo.....I figured I'd try the plastic spoon. Took ages.
Lessons learned. Pomegranate #2 is gonna be my b****.
