Michael,
Here is what I got when I installed PS Rock Legends Kit 3
WTF? the same path twice?
So I changed it to "Multisamples" because that's where I wanted it...
HOWEVER
This is what I get when I try to load it. It hangs when I reach 2.5gb of memory
WHAT??? Does Sonar "max out" at 2.5 gigs in the 32 bit environment?
Anyway...
DimPro should let you "select" where you want your samples.
After that, expansion installers "should" find the right path, or at least let you direct it to the
correct location.
Craig Anderton's EB5 Bass is a "drag and drop" install.
I threw the .prog files into DP's folder (this is in Program Data\Cakewalk\Diminsion Pro\Programs
and the sfz and wave folder into the Multisamples folder,
and all is well.
Wish I could be of more help, and I do agree a "white" paper on VSTi management would be most usefull.
<rant>
IIHO any VSTi that requires 1kb of .wav or .flac etc. MUST allow (help would be nice!) to install it
to the "Sample" drive.
</rant>
If DimPro is NOT looking for its samples on your F (is that right?) drive, I would un-install and then
re-install being VERY careful when prompted for where to put things.
