I have just upgraded my Sonar to the X3 Producer edition and installed the full Addictive Drums. So far so fine...
But when i open X3 it only reccons the AD free x32. I can't find the full version. What am i missing?
I did restart the computer.
Should i remove the old AD demo version first?
Does anyone had this experience and found a solution?
Cheers!

Sounds like you are saying that you own the full version and then installed X3.

If that is correct I would uninstall the X3 version of AD.

In the future remember to use the advanced install feature where you can choose what you want installed. I did that. Just did not include AD, Melodyne and the AAS stuff since I already owned them.

You have to download from the Addictive site. Cakewalk provides the serial number in your account. I would delete the demo and then go create an account at http://www.xlnaudio.com/productline/1.

The X3 Installation does NOT install AD...you have to create an account at XLN Audio and
then download the XLN Online Installer.  If you already have the online installer, which should
have been used to install the Free one,  then you need to go to the XLN Web Site and
register your Serial # provided, and the run the Online installer again.  This will install
the full version that should be registered to your account when you register the serial #.

Hope that helps!

Excellent post, Larry!

Christian, remember to rescan your VST plugins so SONAR will pick up your AD installation.  In this line, I would strongly suggest that you place your AD VST installation(s) in the Program Files (for 64 bit installations)/ or Program files (x86) (for 32bit installations)/Cakewalk/VST plugins folder.

Check back if you have more questions.

Kind regards,
