Intresting. I have the Kontakt version so I will probably pass, $10 cheaper and I may have gone for it for improved workflow.

Does it say how long it's on sale for ?

Me too.
Shame about most of the cymbals having no direct channels, should have read the small print

Thanks for the heads up Steve, and thanks also for the caveat about the cymbals.

No direct channels? That's an oversight surely???? Do they only come up in the overheads & room mics then?

It's weird but yes that's how it seems.
I should have listened to Jords advice on the fx forum as he's complained about their lack of direct channels but it's worse than I'd though. No direct channels means you can't pan them individual or route them but I'll play around with them some more later as I'm on my way out now.

Yes very disappointing on the cymbals and cowbell front, no direct channels so no panning.
Can't even rout them out to individual tracks in sonar, I tried to do it by routing the cymbals to an aux bus but that didn't work either. Not sure I'd have bought it had I known that and certainly not for the retail price.

So how are they sounding in the Overheads Steve - are they panned within BFD or right up the middle centre panned?
